    any info on this?

i bought this the other day at a thrift store for $3.00. it needed a new battery but the reason i bought it was that it had an ISA swiss quartz movement with a smooth sweeping main (chrono) second hand. it says "parallel worlds" and on the back it says "the fish" i popped a new band and new battery in it.

This flounder needs to be moved to the ugly watch thread! Found some info for you via Google:

A new watch company, Parallel Worlds, founded by New York-based Austrian expats Robert "Fredi" Brodman and Roland Cudek, understands the demand for a high-quality--but downtown-stylish--watch. "The consumer has become more sophisticated, less brand-oriented," says Brodman, whose design inspiration comes as much from cars and airplanes as it does from the Rolex Oyster. "We differentiate ourselves from the rest of the sport watches out there through superior mechanics." The Fish, the Sport, and the Spacer all cost about $75. For a directory of distributors, call (212) 582-0100.
    Kindest Regards,

If you like it, more power to you. But imho, that's a pretty hideous watch.

I'm not sure yet. Maybe an old 80s gruen quartz chrono case.

Remember; if there were no ugly watches, there would be no beautiful watches.
If you appreciate a one-of-a-kind watch, I'd say you're highly unlikely to find anyone else wearing one.
    Just sayin'
