Hi, I am new to this forum.
First, I did search around quite a bit to find some information about this watch, to no avail.
The watch in question is a Dolce & Gabbana Sir DW0380 men's watch like the one pictured below.
My brother gave me this watch a couple days ago, and it was ticking fine. I started tinkering around with the buttons to try to figure it out, and the second hand stopped working, it was sort of ticking in place. The sub-dials were still ticking when I was tinkering around with it, and it held time, but the next day nothing was working. Did I ruin the watch? Is the battery done?
I cannot find an owners manual, and my brother does not have it. Is there a way to reset the watch? Does it even work like that? Please forgive my ignorance, I have never owned a watch before. (Actually my girlfriend just gifted me a Kenneth Kole watch for Christmas too, weird how that works, never had a watch in 22 years, and suddenly I acquire two?)
I realize the best thing to do is go to a watch repair shop. However, I figured I would come here first to ask around before I did that, so please give me some advice before telling me that my brother should have kept the repair manual, or that I should not have played with the buttons before knowing what they did.
Thanks in advance, and happy... time telling?
Ross Love
