Does this seem legit?
Goes for around $2900 new at grey market. Price seems a bit too good.

Says he has papers and will be giving me better pictures on Monday.
On the chance it is fake, am I actually covered under e-bay buyer protection?
Lastly, does Gucci verify watches? I heard somewhere Louis Vuitton stopped authenticating, so I was wondering if Gucci did the same.

You would be covered by the ebay buyer protection. $1700-1900 is a little high on that watch for being on ebay. Most reputable jewelry stores that carry watches or a watchmaker should be able to verify the authenticity.

Is it? most of them seem to be going for 1700-2300. except 1 pink one that is selling for 1000.

Reason why I am scared is because I was googleing replicas, and I found one that even had Gucci engraved in the quartz movement.

But the fact I am covered by ebay protection assures me a little bit.

The buyer protection works well. I've purchased two replicas so far that I've had to return for a refund (Concord & Bvlgari) and ebay handled it promptly. Be careful though, there are some good replicas.

As far as the Gucci your looking at, most of the value is in the diamonds and not so much in the watch itself. So it's up to you how much you want one and what it's worth to you. Personally I wouldn't want to go over $1300 for one like you're looking at as the resale value on the brand is low.

It should say Authentic, I believe. If it is in fact Gucci.
