Is my watch broken or does it need a new battery

Hi guys, might be a noob question but I can't tell if my Flud Big Ben watch is broken or needs a new battery. First I noticed that the seconds hand would stop and then move one tick counter clockwise, and then back to its original position and then down clockwise and back up again. Eventually it just stopped. Is it broken? Or does it need a new battery? I bought the watch at the end of 2010

No way to say for sure. Try a new battery - always a good first step in diagnosing problems with a quartz watch. If that doesn't fix it, then yes, it's broken.

Just needs a battery. That's how quartz watches behave when they need a battery.
