    March 11, 2009 EDIT: A poster on another forum asked me why white Superluminova isn't typically used on watch dials. Take a look at the charts below and I think you'll see why white SL isn't used. Depending on the "binder" used when manufacturing the compound, SL can be matte or gloss as shown in the first two charts. In either case, the 3rd chart shows that white (C1) isn't nearly as bright as light green (C3) when working in the dark. C3 is certainly my preference for luminosity based on these charts. Lots of information on the compound available via a "google" search. Hope this helps...
