I have recently been restructuring my collection. Over the past 2 months, I have sold 5 watches: 3 casios and 2 orients. The first 4 sales went flawless. The last sale was for this watch SOLD: Orient CEX0R001B0 Black Hellenic The buyer just contacted me and said the watch had a small scratch on the crystal. I did state in the auction that the watch was basically new, which it was. It hasn't been worn. I ended up with a Vintage, FFD0F001B, as my go-to black watch.
He wants to take it to his jeweler and see about a repair. I am very frustrated by this. The crystal was clean, as can be seen by the pictures. As a sign of good faith, I offered him 10% back. Was this a good idea?
Any help and advice from you guys would be appreciated.
