Stiff bezel on white dolphin with blue bezel

My third Orient diver arrived yesterday: a white faced dolphin with the blue bezel. If you think the bezel is stiff on the Mako Mk1, then you should see this one. Not that it bothers me that much. This is such a great value, cool looking watch and I love the stainless steel strap and fastener, which has the look and feel of a Swiss made Omega. I paid AU$ 119 for this watch with free shipping from g-watches in Singapore. The quality is superb apart from the stiff bezel. Not that I am a scuba diver who needs to use it to time his air tanks. But I do like to twist the bezel as a substitute for my worry beads. The overal fit and finish of this watch is so good, you have to pinch yourself in regards to the price paid. I am now saving up for my 4th Orient diver, which will be a Mk2 mako with a blue face. I have now worked the bezel on my black mako loose with a spot of three-in-one and about 500 turns using a rubber glove. I will eventually do the same with this one. Whereas the bezel on my Orient submariner homage is not stiff at all. Thanks again Orient for making such good quality watches for such ridiculously affordable prices.

had the same problem, you just have to loosen it a little by turning it 10-20 times. It gets much better after.

Yeah, likewise and have read that elsewhere. Couldn't agree more, great value, and for an original look.
