Replacement band for Reverso Gran'Sport Automatique

The rubber on my Reverso Gran'Sport Automatique (290.8.60) strap is beginning to crack. I emailed an Aauthorized JLC dealer about a replacement for the strap (just the rubber, not the clasp), which as most of you probably know has unique lug ends, so it can't take just any strap. They quoted $335 for rubber and $315 for a leather version.

Does anyone know if there is a less expensive source for this style of band, or any third party that makes a band to fit this watch?

I suggest you contact Jeanna at Stone Creek Straps and ask if she can make one for you. Her quality and workmanship are fantastic and you have a very large choice of materials. Her prices are also much better than JLCs.
