Advice needed on strap pin removal tool please!

    Hi all,

Can you clever folks recommend a good quality strap pin removal tool - I'm in the UK and would like to get one for under £50 if possible!

There are hundreds on eBay but I know nothing about watch tools - Does quality matter with this tool within reason?

It will be used for my Omega Seamaster GMT.

    Thanks all!

I'm not an expert on this, but so far no one else has responded so ...
I bought a spring bar tool some months ago that cost me less than $10. On eBay. I understand that Bergeon is the best, but it's pricey. The one I got works fine.
I also picked up a watch tool kit for about $8. Most of it is cheap stuff, but serviceable. The link pin remover tool is crappy, but there's another tool that works pretty well for pushing out the pins. I've seen a much better one out there for about $18, but so far don't seem to need to upgrade.

Please, you clever AND informed folk out there ... help us with your experience.

A noob, but I bought the Bergeon springbar tool, and the "little giant" pin removal tool from Esslinger Jewelry Supplies Tools Watch Parts & all Jewelry Findings Watch Bands a couple weeks ago, and am impressed with both.

With shipping, total was under $30, and I had them 2 days later.

They have a pretty good selection, though I am not sure about international shipping.

    Good luck!
