I just bought two Orient watches, do I NEED a watch winder?

Hello everyone. I just bought two Orient automatic watches with their 50% coupon so the total was less that $250. Now I can not wear both at the same time and this is my first automatic watch, so do I NEED a watch winder? If so, what? I am interested in function over looks of the winder as I am legally blind. I do not care about a pretty winder, just a functional one....to save money. If I NEED one, what and where should I look?

Generally, a watch winder is a convenience, not a necessity. But ... if your vision impairment makes it difficult for you to set the watches, it may be an important convenience. It that's not an issue, then it just depends upon whether the convenience is worth popping for one.

BTW, I just picked up a winder at Brookstone, and it looks to be a good value. Check for discounts. You may be able to get 25% off.

If you buy a winder, then you want one with IC control and all three modes of winding, right? I ask because I did find this:

Amazon.com: Diplomat Double Metallic Silver / Black Watch Winder with Built In IC Timer: Watches

I am interested in function over pretty looks and such. Thanks for the help.

Thank you very much for the help. I have ordered the watch winder from the link above as I think it will do what I want it to do. :) Thanks again.
