Hi all!
I'm new at watches and I just bought a winder. This may have been answered before, so please forgive me if I ask again.
I have an Omega Geneve with a 565 caliber movement and an Omega 1020 movement.
1. Is it optimal for the winder to go clockwise or counter-clockwise with these vintage movements? Will I risk damaging it going the opposite way?
2. Is it a good idea to keep these vintage watches on a winder or should I just adjust them when I wear it? I wear them less than once every two weeks, only for dressy occasions.
3. Is there an optimal number of revolutions per day for these watches?
4. I have an Omega Seamaster 300M, is it bidirectional winding? I wear this watch daily and don't really need to use the winder for it.
I thank you in advance for your help.
Regards, Stephen
