    Soups on!!!

Okay, 30 minute boil complete. Assembly, after a thorough cooling, 3 minutes. It's is very obvious the case is softer as it went back on with zero effort. It practically put itself back on.

I would guesstimate that the % of softness at a 30 minute boil is 40% softer. I would imagine that my results are the same as Brian's. I thought the extra 10 minutes would make a difference, but, I'm guessing it really did not.

My next experiment with be 45 minutes for a strap. Another strap that has always bothered my wrist is the Z22 that comes with Seiko Diver's 7s26 watches. I'm going to give it an hour. I have a couple, so, if I melt the darn thing or it shrinks, I'll have a back up.

    This is fun.

I'm wondering if boiling the back rubber piece...the black piece with those "nubs" on it will make them softer and less noticable on the wrist. I normally don't notice them, but with winter here and wearing a thick winter jacket they seem to rub my wrist and are more noticeable. If anyone boils their muddie, throw this in too and see if it's softer afterward....i will be when i get a chance to boil mine.

Did it last night and everything seems softer and easier to use. The only problem is that the resin was off-color almost like it had a white wax on it. It scrubbed off, but i wonder if this is the resin deteriorating from the boiling. But i defnitely recommend doing it to every mudman.

What I want to know is, how many hands do you have? You have both hands in the pictures and yet the photos seem to come from your eye's perspective. Fantastic.

Hmm, I've done this with my three Gs now and never experienced that - not even for the green Muddy I took the pictures of. Could it have been something in the water, I know that boiling water sometimes leaves behind a fine residue, typically minerals in the water. Has anyone else every seen this?

DJ, my guess is that Brian isusing a tripod to hold the camera, and a timer before the shot goes off so he can show his hands in the shot.

    Or, he's a robot.
