    WOW!

Gordon, that black one just looks incredible!!!
    Congratulations on scoring both!

Buzzbait, I think maybe go to stage 1 (bands and bezel) then see how you like it? I can picture it already, and like the coments I've made elsewhere, I always thought the stick 6900 had one too many colours on the face. Including LCD segments. You should have stuck with two colours or none for the LCD and no more than two for the faceplate/bezel combo. So I think the bezel/band change will look great.

Good luck with what ever stage you settle with!

    Gordon: Looks awesome!!!!

I finished stealthing the bezel last night, got it mounted, and tossed on a stock DW-6900 strap. I really like how this is shaping up!!!!! Here are a few pics. In the last shot, the new stealthed 6900 is taken next to a stock Chinese-made DW-6900. You can easily see the difference in clarity of the LCD's.

    Hi Buzz,

That is a real good job The 6900MC case and module look very nice with the stealthed bezel. Awesome!

    Cheers,

    Re: New Stealthing Project

The spare bezel and strap arrived this morning, from Casio Sales and Service. Unfortunately, they mailed the wrong strap. And to create as much irony as possible, they mailed me a DW-6900 strap.

No worries though. I called Casio Sales and Service on the telephone, and had a great talk. They shipped out a proper DW-5600E strap in afternoon mail. So the grand finish to the project will have to wait until early next week.

    Still loving this watch!!!!

WOWEEEEE! That is the most stunning G-Shock that I have ever witnessed with my own two eyes! I have only seen one like that in my dreams. I would love to follow your blueprint and create one for myself.

The neg display isn't too bad, but would defintely be a lot better if the digits were bigger for sure. Hope these pics help. Looking forward to you results!

The black one looks beautiful Gordon. That's about as close to the "real" black that I've seen. Are you thinking about stealthing that bezel?

    Re: New Stealthing Project

I'm about to trick out my black metallix (negative display) the same way. I just ordered the 6900 bezel and strap off the bay, so I'll be starting my project real soon. Can somebody please tell me how I remove the bezel and strap, and if I need any special tools to do so? Thanks
