    Battle of the Titans

What do you guys think of the AP Safari vs. the LW Elemental? We all know the great heritage of the AP Safari, but I think the LW has it's own unique identity as well. For such a new brand, their watches certainly have an amazing quality and uniqueness to them.

Also, I would like to thank Dan at Timeless Watch Exchange for an amazing transaction. He is a great guy to work with and an extremely trustworthy individual. There was a small setback with my transaction, but Dan came through and I got my watch! Thanks Dan!

Well, as much as I love LW. but in this case, not even a close contest. :))

    Re: Battle of the Titans

First of all congrats on your LW purchase!

Both watches are beautiful in their own right and I also love my LW....but....they truly are in a different league. (which I would hope considering the price difference!!) It would be nice to see some side by side comparisons of the two watches when you get a chance since they have the same coloring. I have laid my LW The One (black dial) next to my AP ROC (white dial) and you can see some similarities but with your two watches having the same coloring it would be interesting to see the comparison.

I would also like to add you to the Master Thread of LW Owners and the models they own if you don't mind. Owner and Watch Master Thread

    Re: Battle of the Titans

I'm not a chrono fan, so guess which I would choose. They are both really nice watches though and congrats on the LW. I love the AP strap too, very nice looking color, is it OEM? It looks like an Aaron Tan (HK Tan) strap.
One thing though, you did forget the all important wrist shots. Wear them well and thanks for sharing.
    Cheers,
    Rob

    Re: Battle of the Titans

Needless to say, both are great watches with incredible wrist presence, and rather than choose between them, I'd do like you and simply get both.

As an aside, I find it telling that so many LW owners are also AP owners. Clearly, these are complementary pieces.

Man, I love that tracked calf strap--wish I could find one. I don't think there's any real comparison, but your LW is sweet. And you're right, Dan is great to deal with.

Welcome Gmoy, those are a fine looking pair you got.

Not in the same class, but both gorgeous for sure.

    Both are Awesome!
    Congrats on the new acquisition!

Its funny to me, they're both extremely different yet very similar. Id def. be loving them both.

Extra congrats on (what I descern) the brown tracked calf strap coming on the watch. Its good that youve got it right off the bat as its a extremely rare strap at the moment, just really tough to find em. ( the black one's gone from US Distrib)

Very nice strap, the edges look exactly the same way as Arron Tan's straps. Kind of a tick rubber paint stuff.
