Latest Acquisition - LW Okto Titanium

Hey all,

A new arrival from Timeless has just arrived, just what is needed on a wintery Monday morning in Melbourne. I know most of you have probably seen images of this particular piece already, but thought I'd share some more for anyone interested.

I've wanted an Okto for some time now, and for me it had to be the Titanium version. When this one popped up for sale I knew it may be my last chance to pick one up for a while, and combined with the strap options that Dan had available, and the 'special' serial number I thought it was something too good to pass up. Unfortunately this neccessitated the offloading of my LW 'The One 2.6', but I knew that if I wanted another 'One' I could pick it up without too much of an isue. The titanium Okto is that little bit rarer on the pre-owned market from what I've seen so the deal was done.

First impression: What a stunning piece this is! The matte finish of the titanium is superb, the lacquered bezel is gorgeous, and it is very light on the wrist in comparison to 'The One'. Detailing and finish is superb, just as it was on 'The One'. The AR could be improved, but coming from Anonimo's with no AR at all it's not something that phases me too much. I know the strap will not be to all tastes, but for me it was a must-have. I bought a rubberized calf with it also and look forward to having a few options.

Excellent Acquisition Brother...!

The titanium sure is a rare gem. So this is where one of the 88 pieces is. Not sure where the other 87 pieces went. Only few of them surface up in the pre owned market.

You made a right choice bro. No way The One can beat the Oktopus.

I find it interesting that they pop up so infrequently considering production numbers are the same as 'The One'. I even see Spido's pop up more often, so I gues those that own it either don't utilise forums/the 'bay or do not want to get rid of them. I can see why, it sure is a special piece. I also really like the DLC version, but am always concerned with the watch marking up or wearing through hence why I haven't tried one as yet. The all black look is pretty killer though...as are the hard green and hard grey versions. I want them all

I'd like to see the DLC Okto on the Hard Black II strap - would be a killer combo I think!

Haha in good time Nishant Will try and grab some this weekend and will pop them up once I do.

Thanks for the compliment as well, I'm quite happy with the current pieces. A Master Compressor would fit in quite nicely as well I believe, but it would have to be a one-in one-out and I'm not ready to part with any as yet. The Okto is such a cool weekend piece in my opinion, love it.
