Notice that the screws are polished and not DLC...I decided to keep with this combination...only tough choice for me was either to have the strap with Ardillion buckle or deployant buckle...

And since the strap need sometime to break in (develop its curves) I decided to go with the deployant as the safer choice...just in case it slip off my wrist when I am taking it out...

I am happy with this purchase...

Btw guys, I am quite a very water sports person, just want to gather some feedback, is this textile strap waterproof? Able to be immersed in water?

Thanks for any feedback and thanks for looking.

    Cheers.

P.S. sorry for the crappy unprofessional photos.

bro, so it's you who took Jeffrey's last textile strap in stock!
i was at his shop earlier today and he said he just sold his last textile strap yesterday, now i have to order and wait 2-3 weeks :(

no biggie.. congrats and your pics just affirmed that textile is the right choice for my Okto :)
am prob going with the Ardillion buckle on mine once it gets here, since i've never been a fan of deploy buckles.

btw, Jeff told me the textile strap isn't that suitable for swimming/diving, coz of the leather underlining. rubber is still the way to go for water sports.

    congrats again!!

    Ops..!

    Sorry burnz...

It was totally unintentional...guess I was the quicker one...The waiting time was the main reason I didnt place any order for the textile the first time round, instead I went to order the stainless steel screws...Lol.

I am switching it to the stainless steel ardillion buckle to match the screws and indexes...totally agree with you that its the right choice for the Okto...

Thanks for asking Jeff regarding the textile strap...I'll remember not to bring it near the pool and the sea...

    Cheers brother.

Was thinking of a Gator myself but at $1k and Jeff mentioned they arn't as comfy as the second gen gators like on my Hard Black II, I held off getting one.

The Okto looks perfect on the textile! Looking forward to seeing it on Sunday.

It may not be recommended for use in the water, but that never stopped me:

I even took in the shower regularly, and it looked as good the day I sold it as it did when new. Just sayin'...
