Re: Spidoite 1 and 2 case difference

Having absolutely no experience with the Spido 2, I would think the Spidolite 1 wears "better" in that the lower lug surface maintains a similar angle to the upper surface, meaning that they hug the wrist like all previous LWs -- ie they fit perfectly!

The Spido 2 lower lug angle seems to be opposite that (going away from wrist). Maybe it is just the angle of the picture. Also, I reiterate that I have no experience with the watch whatsoever. Maybe that makes this an almost useless post ;).

Maybe I'm biased but I do prefer the Spidolite I case VS. the II. From this angle the Spidolite I case looks both more interesting and balanced, as The Spidolite II crown is not centered.

The Spidolite II dial does however look pretty cool and the date wheel is awesome! Guess there's now cause to own both

    Linde Werdelin Hard Black II

Cool Re: Spidoite 1 and 2 case difference

I kind of prefer the Spidolite I thickness over the II...and I'm with Sappie and Dylan on this...The Spidolite I is more balanced, interesting and most importantly wears definitely better than the Spidolite II...(this is after trying out both at the boutique)...As it has a thinner casing, it sits lower on the wrist and making it a perfect fit...this is just my own personal opinion...

However, the Spidolite II has more details on the dial...looks very stylish, modern, sophisticated and more expensive...If any one who knows nothing about LW and take a look at Spidolite I, they will be shock to know its price tag...but if they take a look at the Spidolite II, chances are, they will have this feeling it is expensive...

For me, the Spidolite I is still my winner...Simple and not complicated...

    Cheers.
