    My Uncle's Omega

I have a circa 1979 Omega automatic that was presented to my uncle on his retirement from Beach products in Kalamazoo Michigan. It is original, inscribed on the back and only runs intermittently. I can't seem to even be able to set it. I'm afraid it may cost more to refurbish than its worth, but its clean and simple... I like it!
I imagine for you experts it would be easy to identify - for me its a great watch...

I think this is what you have there, it may just need a good cleaning and lube by a competent watch maker.

Interesting... I took the case back off following a Utube video. The number is a 166.0202 - which corresponds to a Seamaster. But this is not gold plated and the back is pressure fit. It does say 1010 and 17 Jewels on the mechanism though.
