Question Omega 343 sub second - Fake or Real or Mix?

Hello all, if there are any experts willing to lend advice, I have a watch with various Omega signatures, however I am uncertain if it is real. I know the band is a replacement, I am concerned about the watch, and most particularly the movement.

I searched Omega's site for listings under 343 movement, as well as the case listing 2576 (actual is 2576-6, but that brought up nothing). I wasn't able to find anything under the movement marking 12065157. These two searches brought up different watches, which is the first sign that this is rebuilt, or possibly a complete fake. Furthermore, I have been unable to find an Omega watch face that lists hours at 2/4/8/12, sub second or otherwise. The ones on Omega's vintage site list 12 only, or 3/9/12.

It was claimed to be recently serviced with a refinished dial. I don't know if that means cleaned or repaired, but that can't truthfully mean replaced.

I am not a collector, so the band and the face and such, if of good quality don't have to perfectly match the year/etc, but they cannot be fakes. Of course the movement also cannot be a fake, and if it is must be returned. The seller claimed all the parts belonged to this particular watch, and I bought it with an excellent return policy.

Any comments about this would be much appreciated, thank you!

I must say also that the "1" in the 10 and 12 looks suspicious, as well as that "0" in the 10 encroaches into the inner circle.

As the seller said it's a genuine watch with a refinished dial.
That means repainted. The original was judged to be too far gone and someone has made their best effort to redo it.
The applied detail is probably correct but painted text may or may not be accurate.

IMO the repaint isn't such a good one. also the movement looks like it was peiced together from multiple ones as the colors don't match and it is lacking the proper regulator for a cal 343. The picture bellow shows what it should be like.

Franken, I had that same very watch and here's what it looked before:

When I had that watch it was already redialed (probably an old one), someone had sloppily put Chronometer and Officially Certified under Omega Automatic. They probably took it off a 342/344 and added that. Anyways I returned it, and I guess a seller bought it from the guy I returned it to, and then you bought it. Looks like he took off the dial and hands and replaced them with a better redial based on the already incorrect redial (I think chronometer should be chronometre). He also stripped off the Omega crown and replaced it with a generic... That watch had a lot of problems, overpolished rotor, missing RG regulator, dirty even though the seller said it was "just serviced" in the description.... My advice is to return it.

I very much appreciate everyone taking the time to respond. Quite amazing to get a response from a former owner as well. Just in time too!
