I have it on my wrist now, and it seems pretty legit. Is there any obvious things I should be looking for?

Congrats, beautiful watch which seems to come with all the original packaging materials. The experts here should reply soon.
this is my first post too, as Ive been a lurker and reader trying to learn more things before I bought my first Omega which is being shipped to me now.

Thanks! I am digging my new speedmaster...little smaller then I'm used to, but wears very comfortably on the wrist. Cajuns unite! Where are you from? I live in River Ridge (near metairie and kenner..)

Im waiting on delivery of a very old manual wind 14K Omega dress watch with movement serial number 4814492. I cant find any databases that recognize that old number.
It's from around 1915 according to seller in Australia. I'll post pics when it arrives and let the pros here tell me what Ive really got. It's in complete vintage condition including original patina on the dial. Looking forward to opinions here on whether I should get it refinished or keep it original.

AOK how big is that watch you bought? I could be wrong but, it looks an awful lot like a pocket watch someone put in a modern case, it happens alot on ebay. some sellers are honest about the watch's but others aren't.

Thanks for the reply. Watch just arrived an hour ago and I like what I see. It's not abnormally large and similar in size to a timex I have.

The case diameter is: 35.85mm from the 8 - 2 position, the total length of the case from case horn to case horn is 44.60mm and the case thickness including the glass is 10.82mm.
