    Is it real?

Do not know much about watches but someone has offered me this Omega Seamaster to trade for a limited production knife that I have.
He said it is an automatic Swiss movement with a sweeping second hand.

Sorry having issues posting images normally:

Im gunna say fake, Happy feet on the omega symbol on the dial. Helium valve lines up with the 10 marker (or 50 if the bezel was there) on the dot when it should be around the 51 or so. and also the bezel is missing. Based on the description the guy gave you I would stay away.

    Re: Is it real?

That would be a reasonable trade ..... if the knife you have is worth about $5.
It's not even a good quality fake.
The HE valve position is an obvious telltale .. lots of other features are wrong including the etched clasp and the bezel.
The general poor look of it is extra confirmation.

    Re: Is it real?

I thought something looked wrong when I saw the pictures. Like I said I don't know watches very well and needed second opinions from people who do.

Thank you all for the replies, they are very much appreciated.
