Basically the entire country of canada.

I go every year for fishing. Nothing like paying to desimate the natural resourses of our neighbor to the north.

No doubt, the foothills and Rocky Mountains of Alberta a gorgeous in every way. British Columbia has everything from foothills, lakes, mountains, isolated islands and a great coast.

If you go further east or north, you'll enjoy yourself very much as well.

From where are you departing, for how long and for what, if any, specific purpose?

Any of the provincial and national parks are great, and each offers something different in terms of scenery and amenities, so I suggest you search online. All of them have hiking trails, many have beautiful, uncrowded beaches, and you can also find some with bike and canoe rentals.
note that some of the parks are a little more rustic than others in terms of toilet and shower facilities.
Camp sites are very limited, so be sure to reserve ahead as soon as possible, especially on weekends.
Avoid black fly season. Don't keep food in your tent.

if you are in Ontario, Algonquin Provincial Park is my favourite.
For spectacular scenery, check out Banff, Jasper, Cape Breton, Vancouver Island .....
