And the best part is, when you're sick and tired of using it as a fashion accessory . . . You can keep wearing it, once in awhile look down on the dial, and actually use it for telling time.

San Jose is not a watch are, it seems at least 60% of the locals don't wear one.
I don't get why people always say phones replaced watches. My phone isn't visible most of the time. It's way easier to glance at my wrist than pull out my Smartphone, especially when I'm being active.

For some odd reason, some folks think going backwards is the same as going forwards. Grand-pa pulled his pocket-watch out of his pocket. Dad and son wore their watches on their wrist. Great grand-son pulls his phone out of his pocket each time he needs to check the time. He's now just as cool as grand-pa. (But don't point out that fact to him, because he thinks he's being modern and trendy.)

In NYC, ironically, not too many folks who walk around with phone in hand all the time. If you spot someone doing that, 99 times out of 100 it's a young woman.

I think that for a lot of kids growing up with cell phones, reading a digital display is faster for them. I certainly didn't grow up with a phone, but I do recall being more proficient at telling the time when it was digital vs. analog initially. It does crack me up when people reach into their pocket to get out their phone and a watch is on their wrist, though...
