Hello,
The early version's minute hand was way off the mark by a good .25 inch or so; you could only approximate the exact minute. I read plans were being formulated to lengthen same. Has it happened?

Hello Aquavit,
I added a similar comment to a thread on the "new" Solo many months ago. I think the thread was started by an AD who had just received one of the first shipments of Solos. He replied that "they were looking into it", or something like that. Whether he actually knew of that or just blowing smoke is unknown.
Considering how everyone else thinks this watch is the Second Coming, the minute hand will never be changed; no sense in it.

i do believe the new White Solo reflects the change

Thanks for the replies, the white faced Solo is not shown on Bremonts website, is it released yet and does it mean the change will be followed through on the black faced watches??
To my eyes it now makes the hour hand look a little short, the balance has been lost between the two hands so it would perhaps have made sense to lengthen both.
I like the simplicity of this watch but, given the price and the relatively sparse nature of the piece, I feel that every detail has to be spot on.
Yes is has, I saw the current Solos up at Banks Lyon in Lancaster and the hand was longer. It was also a good balance with the hour hand IMHO
