Some more names, hope it is allowed to use them
Conshelf I (or 1, don't know which type of indication was used)
Conshelf II (or 2, again not sure about the type indication used)
Both underwater projects from Jacques Cousteau in the red sea during 1962 /1963
Tektite I
Tektite II
American underwater studies conducted by General Electric Compagny Space Division during the 1969 / 1970.
I think also good names to use on a watch and at the same time playing an important role in the dive history.

PS
I should design watches myself, really good name to use, haha
I'm perfectly fine with just "300" myself. It's both straightforward while retaining that "in-the-know" flair to it without being overly exclusively insider's cryptic. I personally don't care much for islands, the history of ports and such. They may have a decent history, but it's all too obscure for me to really appreciate
Ok I'll throw my two cents in. I've been looking around for months and this name speaks to me Argo. You may ask what the hell is an Argo and why would we name a watch that. Well if we are looking to keep it nautical what better name than the ship built by Jason and the Argonauts. Basically a group came together for the thrill of an adventure (Search for the Golden Fleece) They enlisted a master craftsman "Argos" who with their help built the largest and finest magical ship ever created. Read this short link or get the book if you like the classics. And yes I think it would fit quite nice on top of the right 300 script. Would make a very nice case back as well. Jason and the Argonauts - Charles Kingsley - From The Heroes, or Greek Fairy Tales for My Children
For me, the name 300 or any of its derivations would work, but they sort of remind me of the code names that pre-production products like cars or software gets. Good enough to internally reference the product, but not polished or very reflective of the characteristics of the item.My suggestion (thats taken up way too much time and energy), is the Falkland. Briefly, it was the last conflict where the Royal Navy was the sole, dominant military force. I like the historical aspect, and for what its worth, it continues the island connection. Lookin forward to hearing your thoughts.

I like Kraken and I like Dreadnaught but that's taken.
A couple of new ones;
The MKII ZERO for some reason it just feels cool to me.
I really like MKII NAMAZU pronounced Namatzu it comes from Japanese mythology, it its said to be a giant Catfish that lives deep inside the earth, river, ocean, mud its not clear, it is said he is the cause of earthquakes. There is extensive Japanese art work on the subjet, traditional and modern, we could maybe design our own for a case back.
What do you guys think?
