Age of BS300 case? NOS or new made?

I am curious about BS300 case age.

    Web site declare that
Case including caseback and bezel made in Pforzheim Germany, DLC coated in Austria, next generation will be made in house in Pforzheim
but not saying about the age.
but as I read on many sources, it is approx 40years old case, resp. case blank.

How is it? And if they are all NOS, does it include casebacks and bezels? I like to have clear about that :)

Or just first batch was with NOS cases? My BS300 is on the way probably, so does it have NOS case? Or all 500 pieces will have NOS case?

If im not mistaken they arent all NOS the bs100 and bs300 are both new. The NOS diver is the only watch that uses NOS parts, hence its name.

Regarding cases, the 200 has a complete NOS case, the BS300 is a refinished NOS blank. The BS100 is entirely new.

Thanx Bill for explanation. So as I have thought, BS 300 has blank case used, do you know if this is made (or will be) for all 500 pieces of BS 300? It doesnt matter, but I am just curious :)

I havent found any information about first and second batch quantity too, all I know is the total amount of BS300, whats 500 pieces. Am I right? First batch was 250 and the present second batch is for the remaining 250? Maybe I am asking confidential things :)

What were the cases originally used for? Which AD model were the cases originally slated to become?

Its my understanding the BS 100's are modern new cases based on the BS 300 / TimeDepth cases. The BS 300 NOS cases blanks were originally intended to be used for 1970's Time Depth cases (hence identical cases), and the hole between the lugs for the depth gauge sensor was converted into the HRV instead during machining. This was discussed in a thread somewhere early on.
For members who understand, no explanation is needed. For thread crappers who do not understand, no explanation is possible. Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.
