Excellent point arutlosjr11! I just found out these are still available and may act on it. I do have an Oliver bronze diver on order, so that would be two bronze divers with ETA movements.

In order to rationalize an Aquadive purchase and convince myself to move forward, please tell me that in addition to being a great watch these will be retain their value and possibly increase in value. I need encouragement.

1. You mention both have ETA movements. Our movements are regulated in five positions and come with a certificate stating accuracy.

Appreciate the information Ariel. I'm definitely tempted by the Aquadive Bronze 100.

You mention that the introductory price will increase by $400, which would take the watch from $1,290 to $1,690. Even this higher price is less than $1,990, which is the current price for a the stainless steel 100. Other than bronze vs. stainless steel, are these two watches the same or similar? Is the price difference explained by the bracelet?

Think price difference is due solely to the Bronze alloy. Bronze is cheaper than stainless steel, contrary to pricing by other brands. The stainless steel 100 does not come with a bracelet, it comes with an isofrane strap as well.

The only thing I think about is that I'm getting an iconic dive watch worth thousands more for thousands less. Proud to be on the list of those fortunate enough to get one.

Remember this isn't a micro-brew but instead a pillar for dive watches worldwide.

Is the introductory price still available for the bronze diver?

I did originally have one on preorder but converted to a BS300. I also have a BS100 DLC.

Very tempted although I too have a olivier bronze on preorder.
