Thumbs Up Aquadive Bronze -- Black dial Review

I haven't posted an online watch review before, but after receiving my new Aquadive Bathyscaphe 100 Bronze I figured it was time!

First off, the buying experience through Aquadive (AD)was top notch. I asked a ton of questions before finally pulling the trigger and the AD online staff responded quickly and were very helpful through the entire process.

The FedEx man delivered the goods in 2 days and I am absolutely thrilled with the watch.

The fit and finish is spot on! The bezel has a smooth ratcheting engagement and the markers line up perfectly.

Box, ID card, timing certificate and extra spring bars (nice extra) come with the kit.

I was already familiar with the 22mm Isofrane after switching out the stock bracelet on my Deepsea - it's a great strap!

The case size is perfect for me. Not too large and not too small. The sapphire crystal is dead flat and meets the bezel evenly. Winding feels good and the threads on crown are machined/finished for a smooth, not gritty, action.

This is my first bronze watch and I'm looking forward to seeing how the patina develops. I'm going to let it develop gradually by spending time in the ocean/pool.

I'm a big fan of ceramic bezels and this one doesn't disappoint. The lume on the dial and bezel are also very good - no complaints at all.

This was my first AD, but probably not the last. I'm already eyeing up the stainless version on mesh! Overall, the buying experience was outstanding. If you are on the fence on buying one, I say go for it
