Ok, this Sea-Gull LE tourbillon case is nice, and its hands are also nice, but its dimensions are 41x11,9 and I'm afraid it is too thin, but maybe they could add a few mm.
    next, very simmilar is

it's a chronograph with the moonphase, so I believe it is thich enough and it is 39mm (I like it), with nice blue hands, might be a bit darker though
    If uses this movement
    Code:
    ????
    which dimensions are Ф31.3mm H7.25mm , simmilar to ST2528s and its 30.4x7.9mm

I also dig this one, different lugs, but very stylish, maybe my favorite
also cases chronograph movement + the moonphase complication.

    From here
we can see the case dimensions for M308, and those are 42x15mm!
    But from here
we can see, that it can fit into the thinner case, only 43.5x13.5mm

Once more, I am suggesting that we use half-moonphase, instead of full circle (see picture number 3 ), if it is possible, that way we could fit number 6 in a smaller diameter case!

Regarding the red color, I don't think that it should be used more than once, suggestions are that it could be used for number 8 in chinese, for the small second hand, for the moon, etc... I would like to see it on small stars around the yellow moon!

    1. if the casebasck is seethrough, than decorated, if it isn't, than whatever. Simply as that

    2. I'm more for 40mm, but we'll see...
Definitely wouldn't like the current M308 case, and just a different dial design and hands-that would be almost the same watch
What are the measurements for cnmarks case?

    5. I'm always for more expensive option, if that means better quality. I hope that at the end, there will be another poll, whit at least 2-3 options considering different cases, dials, hands, so that we can pick, having our budget in mind, should we take sapphire crystal or better case and hands...

    PS

If it is not a secret, who is this designer guy?

    EDit

What about this movement. It's st16
    Code:
    ????
it has moonphase, no small second hand but centered, and 2 more dials for day and month. Interesting, huh ?

PS it is thinner than ST2528! Only 6.98cm versus 7.9cm (more options for the case).

I do not know if there is a current model whit this movement.
This might be a faux moonphase.

I don't know about awkward, but it definitely is uncommon. That's one reason I suggested it. Fell in love with the arrangement after seeing the Copernicus Spaceliner. Also, the Wuxing uses it:

Hi Milanche - although your picture of the ST16 does not come through, I am almost certain that what you think is a moon phase is only a 24 hour sun/moon. Sea-Gull does not make a ST16 with 29 1/2 day monthly moon phase; however, they do make several variants with 24 hour dials. I doubt that anyone here wants that.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Just got off the phone with Thomas and here is a quick update on our Moonphase WUS Edition.

    1. Movement
For the Moonphase, the most reasonable choice of movement is the ST2528. Not sure whether it will be decorated or not, but will find out soon.

    2. Case and styling
As many people have pointed out, the ST2528 movement imposes a number of design restrictions and the minimum case size is 40mm - although Thomas did suggest 42mm would be a better option. The lugs can be either 20mm or 22mm depending on the final size of the case.

The best option would be to use a case similar to the M308S or the CNMark prototype:

The caseback can either be solid or see-through sapphire with engravings made to our specifications (these may be personalised with WUS, names, login ids etc). However, the LE number must use Arabic numerals ie 001/100.

    3. Watch crystal
Sapphire crystal will be provided with the watch. It is somewhat akin to the sapphire crystal on the 1963.

    4. Dial
The Seagull branding and logo will NOT be used on this watch for obvious reasons. White/creme (or other colour) guillouched dial will be an option. 中国 制造 on the dial is also ok .

    5. Other details
Watch hands can be painted blue ala 1963 or (a more expensive option) use blued steel. However, there may be discrepancies in shade with the blued steel, even on the same watch.

    6. Payment and Shipping
Paypal will be used for payment (via Thomas) and a down-payment of around 50% will be required when the design is finalised, prior to production. The watches are scheduled for completion and shipping in January, 2012 and there will be two options: normal airmail with tracking and EMS (faster) at cost. Shipping should cost in the region of USD10-20 per watch, although this will depend on costs at time of shipping.

Our watch designer member is busy at work, so please give him a little more time .
    1) I'm praying hard that it will be decorated.... it's a pleasure to enjoy decorated movement everyday...

    2) If Thomas suggested 42mm, I'm sure he had his own reasons. I'm ok with 42mm since i got a 7 inches wrist... anything smaller will be too small...

    3) Sapphire crystal for both front and back. Tats sweet!

    4) it's a waste that Seagull branding could not be used. Tat means we need to come up wif a nice logo ourselves. I'm ok with both white or creme dial.

This is awesome guys, just found out about this project and put my name on the list to order one. I'll trust WUS knows what it's doing and can't wait to see the final design! Is the price still hovering around 120USD per watch?

Yes, indeed, that ST16 has a day/night indicator, and many have indicated that they want a real moonphase.
