I am beginning to realize that this project might not be for me. The hands, dial color, and markers that are being suggested do nothing for me. I was hoping this would be a project watch I would wear, but it is quickly heading in the wrong direction for me. I guess I will wait and see the final outcome.

guilloche dial would be great , i dont think id like breguet hands on this watch
Yes, it sounds like you're against all the design decisions so far, except for the guilloche dial. This may not be the right watch for you.

Well he's not the only one with those concerns. Several people prefer smaller case size and there are quite a few that are against breguet hands.
I'm in the same boat but I'll decide once I see the end product :). It might change my mind.

Another fan of Linsooks design. I think this dial works best in off-white (cream) or silver, with guilloche sunburst centered in the moon. Seems we're reproducing CNMark's prototype. Markers: just a single applied red Chinese symbol at 12 o'clock and batons elsewhere

I realize that not everyone likes the direction the design is taking (risk of design by committee) but I like it a lot. I feel sorry for those who don't and can relate as I had the same unfortunate experience earlier in the year on the Laco forum - although that project seems stillborn.

I agree, RonB, I feel sorry for the folks it is not working out for. But being a group design, we all cannot have what we want. There has to be compromise. And for some, the compromises may be to much.

Kid you are always ahead of the game...lol.

We are playing around with the idea of adding the WUS logo to the crown, but not sure if it is economically viable. I will check with Thomas when I meet him.

Linsook, can you please increase the overall width of the breguet hands by 30%? The other hand styles are much wider in proportion and human nature will likely lead to the majority in a poll to reject the breguet hand style as an outlier. Please try to put the hands into some proportional display.

updated. probably have to find some stock pictures with bruguet-style hands that are thicker overall but, from what i've seen so far, they are quite thin.

edit: amended the upper post with additional pic thicker bruguet.
