Payment sent this morning, but just tuned into this thread. I'm very excited about the watch, and almost tempted to get a second one.

Hello All,

We just got word from Thomas that in order to receive the watch before Chinese New Year, we need to order today. This means we need 50 deposits before tomorrow morning to get the ball rolling. If we don't make this deadline, the project is still on as planned, but delivery will shift by a full month. Personally I would like the watch sooner than later, so I would like to stress you all to follow the instructions below, and put down the US$40 today. We still have time for handing out numbers and getting personalized case back text, so you just have to decide whether you're in or out. To reward early payers, we will give extra priority for choosing favorite LE numbers to anyone who pays before 7 AM HongKong time tomorrow, and helping us making this deadline. I know it's a bit unfair to anyone who gets this message too late, and I will send out PM's to anyone on the list to make sure they have a fair chance of getting this message in time, but this is the only thing I can think of short of advancing a few thousands myself...

Ok, it's 7.00 AM in HK now, and we already know Thomas confirmed the order. But, I wanted to say that I'm amazed by the responses in a little over 12 hours. We were curious what part of the registered people would actually buy the watch, also considering the relative small amount of people that voted for the different aspects. I'm glad to discover that the amount of responses was huge: We have deposits made for !!87!! watches. I have commitments for 8 more, which leaves us only 5 watches short of the minimum 100 order in half a day.
Tomorrow I will take a look at distributing LE numbers for the 87 watches ordered.

We will get back to you about the maximum room for personal text, but we all have plenty of time now to think about it.
