Unfortunately there is a real problem with my watch: the bottom edge of the bezel is dented in over a length of about 5mm at the 12 o'clock position. The rest of the bezel is smooth, and so far I haven't found any other damage to the watch.
I'm in contact with Thomas to see how to get it fixed.
ya, its not a dent, its a feature. hehe, we all have it.

If anyone else has a problem with the watch, feel free to contact me and we will get it fixed ASAP. There is no guarantee as such, however Thomas has given his word that he will sure all the watches are trouble-free.
I have to testify this is correct so far. I had to email Thomas and I got a response back within the hour. I was never able to fully set the moonphase. He had me conduct some tests and when I sent him my results, he asked that I ship the watch back for repair. He seemed to know what the issue was and he stated he will resolve this for me, and I have faith that he will. I just have to wait a few more days or weeks before I get it back, but atleast I got to hold my precious for a few days.

Make sure your in the forum you want to create the thread in but not in a specific thread. At the top will be a "create new thread" button. Click it and the magic starts.

Yes, that's also what Thomas says: the watch is front-assembled, because the dial is so darn' big (he didn't say darn'), and the notch at 12 o'clock is the point where they open the bezel.
Interestingly that was my initial guess as well (notch to pry bezel open, like on a pocket watch), but then I realized how rough it feels, which doesn't mesh at all with the very nice finish of the rest of the watch. Hence my suspicion that maybe a damaged bezel slipped through assembly and QC.
    Oh well.
On the upside, I guess that makes me the winner of the nitpicking award!

I had a similar issue. I came to look at the watch in the winder and it had stopped an hour and a bit earlier. The winder does one hour on and three hours off so until now I've set a time clock to turn it on for long enough to ensure three hours of winding. This apparently wasn't enough, I'm experimenting with four hours of winding.

OK, I'll be the one to ask the obvious question. Given that this watch winds in one direction only, did you set the machine to unidirectional in the correct direction?

You know you're getting you money's worth on a mechanical watch when the case is 40mm and it still needs to be a top-loader.

I see the spot to pry the bezel open. Has anyone tried already?

I have a couple of imperfections on the dial. The first "cloud" cutout has either a speck of dust or it's an imperfection of the cutout. Also, inbetween the 6 and 7th hour, underneath the seconds dial where the "fan" pattern starts in that little corner, there appears to be an uncut piece of plastic or the plastic has been cut too much.

I'll just hang on a bit...I really don't want to send it back and just be done with it. It's not something you can see just by glancing at the watch but everyone knows that feeling of knowing it is there.

Well I hope its a speck of dust, imperfections seem to bother me. I have sent my watch back for repair and it was hard doing so, but in time down the road I will be glad I did.
