Oh No Problem with my Forum watch

Hello I have a potential situation and I am not quite sure how to deal with it due to the limited nature of the forum watch.

last night my forum watch (number 36) lost over 10 minutes in just under 7 hours. the previous night it gained 7 seconds when left in the same position (face up). I have reset the time on the watch and so far for an hour it seems to be keeping time. If the watch continues to misbehave what is the procedure for getting it fixed does the watch come with any guarantee at all ? I hope this was a one time hiccup I will closely monitor the watch as I wear it today and report back.

Quick update six and a half hours after resetting the time and wearing the watch it is still spot on to the second with the bst web site. Hopefully the 10 minute loss last night was some weird hiccup.

I have had several chinese watches that stopped randomly somewhere in the first few days, and never showed that behavior later on. I always though it needed to 'run in' or the oil needed to get distributed or something like that.

Alot of new watches just need to "break in" a bit. After a few weeks, it should relax and settle into rhythm. Enjoy that fine piece.

Glad to hear your watch is running well again. Should you have any further problems, please shoot me a message and I will make sure Thomas sorts it out.

If anyone else has a problem with the watch, feel free to contact me and we will get it fixed ASAP. There is no guarantee as such, however Thomas has given his word that he will sure all the watches are trouble-free.

Just wondering: have you been wearing the watch since it arrived? i.e. between the night when it gained slightly and the night when it lost a lot was it on your wrist?

Re: Oh No Problem with my Forum watch

When It lost 10 minutes it was placed face up on my desk overnight , It was left it the same position for the same length of time when it gained 7 seconds. I have been wearing the watch for the past couple of days taking it of at night and placing it on my desk face up and so far it is running 4 seconds fast in about 48 hours. The Only thing I can think of is that the watch ran out of power and stopped 10 minutes before I got up and started running again when I put it on making it look like it had lost 10minutes. However like I do every night I did give the watch a quick wind before I put it down. So it is still a mini mystery.

Re: Oh No Problem with my Forum watch

#29 gained two seconds over 16 hours, so that's great.
Unfortunately there is a real problem with my watch: the bottom edge of the bezel is dented in over a length of about 5mm at the 12 o'clock position. The rest of the bezel is smooth, and so far I haven't found any other damage to the watch.
I'm in contact with Thomas to see how to get it fixed.

L cheapo my watch has the same dent I think it is an access point so the bezel can be removed similar to a snap on case back. I have seen this feature on a few vintage watches with three part cases.
