This is cool:
I can't tell the size; I'm guessing it's 37.5mm - like the '63 Reissue. I love the '63 but it's too small for a big, stupid, lumbering American like myself (6'1" & 210lbs). The only thing I wear that small is my vintage Omega and then only with a suit. (Unfortunately, only about twice a year!)
What I'm thinking is: A chronograph, with Chinese text, in a 40-43mm case would be a cool project! Not that anyone (especially Thomas and the hard working committee) is interested in a second project with the first one uncompleted and annoying posters (like that *&^@$^$# ColinW) being a pain...
Umm... I should probably go now.
Oooo, oooo, raised Chinese indexes!...
Right, I was going...![]()
Cheaper from Kevin at USSeagull -SeaGull USA $650 vs. $750 from a Taobao agent.
It's interesting that the prices are better from Kevin Ma and John Liao compared to Taobao. Never expected that.
It's getting closer!! Can't wait!
After waiting for such a long time, I really loved to hear the good news!!
Any updates from our esteemed organizers? I can't wait to see some of the completed watches and the accuracy of these time tests !

Absolutely: we need a chronograph as the next project.![]()
If I listen carefully to the little voices inside, there is definitely an ST19 sized hole in my collection. Maybe even for the automatic version that Dan from OWC posted a while ago. Can't hurt to get started early this time. There's always delays, plus the movements will only go up in price. In a year from now none of us might be able to afford a real Chinese watch anymore!
And that even before any Renminbi/Yuan revaluation. So, time is ticking away; we better get started!
