    Hi All,

Sorry for being a little off-topic but relevant in a way .. .. kindda confusing, yah, I know .. .. Anyway, I received an email this morning. Thought I shared the link: BOSS Black Automatic Leather Strap Watch | Nordstrom .. seems to me like, it is the same movement as our Chinese Mechanical Forum Moon-phase watch, right?

    Cheers,

There are plenty of bezeled divers in the world. I would rather see a tough 100mwr field watch, perhaps with a second time zone. Plain brushed case, good lume, drilled lugs, totally utilitarian, totally bomb proof.

Not that I can speak for our esteemed organizers, but I think the next communication will be along the lines of a, 'They're done. Send payment to....' type of thing.

It is a shame there wasn't more communication from the builder. If once a week or so there was a 'I ordered these parts...', 'Received this...', 'Started assembling this...', 'On vacation until about...', 'Time trials are blah, blah, blah..." Well, you get the idea.

Although I'm in no rush, I do feel bad for the people who wanted the watch for a certain date/event. I know the feeling... I guess we all know the feeling or we wouldn't here on WUS!

Hello, my name is Colin and I have a watch problem.

I don't know; Martin and some others are movement experts, but it sure is big for that kind of style: "Approx. case diameter: 45mm."!

Aside from the gold and the price, that's a pretty good looking watch. A bit large but I like it.

I agree. It would have been nice to be kept up to date once in a while. Delays happen but I'd rather know why than have people just assume that the extra time means more quality control.

But all is well. I'm just glad that it's moving along.

    Hi Colin,

Which switched witch watches which Swatch watch switch?
and You'll feel relaxed and comfortable :).

The forum has already done a nice, non homage diver, IIRC. Prometheus something or other. I'd like to see a decent field watch too - nothing that screams "overcompensating", just "tough".

Hah, I've settled to 'patience waiting until the end of the world' -mode, ever since I realized that the watch will not be ready for my birthday (February) (not complaining here btw!).

But don't worry guys, at least I had a reason to get another timepeace at the time...! :D
