My concern is more the opposite. It's just as likely the builder will wake up one day and say, "Crap! I've had this unfinished job for five months!" And then just slap something together and punt it out the door.
I don't think that's really going to happen, but I do think QC will be the same whether the job is done in 2 months or 6.

    im slightly pissed
we've got a lot of delays but the communication is a bad joke
is it really so hard to give weekly updates?

i'am thinking of getting my money back and keep this as an reminder not to deal with amateurs

I understand your frustration but I think the crew would respond if they had any news to report. I thank Martin B and the others for kicking this project off, and I am so close to the finish line I can see the tape. The delays have caused to me not buy several watches, since I know I have this one was coming. I also sent you a PM if you wish to release your watch I would be interested maybe in assuming it.

I totally get the frustration (and would prefer more updates myself, even if only just to keep feeding the incoming-watch-vibe in my head). But you knew what you were getting into when you signed up for a forum project watch. These things don't exactly run like clockwork (haha) and delays are common. Whining about pulling out your money and calling the people who put in the time and effort to even get this far amateurs is really bad form, dude.

Sorry for not making weekly reports on production progress and for leaving a sour taste in the mouths of some. I haven't been able to log-on as often as I would have liked over the past few months, simply because there hasn't been enough time! Having more than 2 hours of sleep a day is like a long-forgotten dream. I hope you will all understand when I make another post in a few days time......but for now I'll just say the WUS project watch coincided with another special edition of my own, so both have been very precious to me.

I am sure Martin will give us an update very soon!!!!! Thank you all for your patience :) :)

hked, I think you and the rest have been doing fine. I figured this would take some time and for me the waiting is part of the fun. Thanks to you and the committee for pulling this together. I'm still happy to wait. Hummm..maybe have to order another watch to tide me over

    I think so too
All watches are finished and ready for shipping.

Give me a moment to think up the best procedure for payment (as I'm just an amateur arranging this all at no cost) and I'll get back to you all today.

    Regards,

    Martin
