    Strappage

I reckon now that the adrenaline rush is over, there will be a lot of messing with straps. So let's get to it! Personally, I have a hard time with black faux alligator. It bugs me for some reason. So I dug through box-o'-straps and came up with this one. It's English saddle leather. Does it work?

Personally, not for me. Maybe if it were thinner or didn't have the stitching... Hmmm...

Looks like a great strap for a pilot/flight watch though! Or even a tooly chronograph.

For me that strap looks wrong on the forum watch as it is to casual and our forum watch is dressy. Great strap though. However its not up to me so if you like it then that's all that matters.

    Re: Strappage

    The proportions are important...

Comparing to my Seiko SARB-065, the case appears taller.

Brown strap = great with the tone of the dial, which I find warm.

Flat vs. Convex works better with the round case, IMHO.

    Strap-roll! YMMV. *beer-chug* (Overly Forum-Hip, Yo!)

Not for me...but I think it's good for when you want to go casual. It kinda matches the chunky case. I'll have to wait until mine arrives to really get a feel of it.

The brown color looks nice and the watch sits very well on your wrist, what size it is, prob. like 8 inches.

    Re: Strappage

I'll probably leave mine on this nice Sea-Gull strap for a while.

    Re: Strappage

Would anyone dare put this watch on a black bund or do you think the height profile would ride to high?

Well personally I wouldn't do it because:

    1. it would be way too tall
    2. the decorated movement would be hidden from view
    3. it would looks too sporty/casual for the style of the watch

But if you decide to prove me wrong, be sure to post the photos here!
