    Help identifying this vintage doxa

I'm trying to find more info and approximate year of manufacture for this watch. I have seen little to no watches that have the le locle suisse written on the dial.

By the 7 digit serial number on the back it looks like it was manufactured in 1945 (first two digits represent year for watches manufactured from 1940 to 1966).

    BTW. hands don't look original?

Did they not use hands of this style? I tried to take the hands off for a cleaning with hand pullers but the minute hand was very tight and I could not remove it. It seemed like the hand was riveted on

Maybe I am wrong about hands, they just look newer than the rest of watch.

The watch was indeed made in 1945, and is powered by a Doxa-modified ETA 930.

The hands are legit - blued steel ones tend to be fairly resistant to any tarnish and oxidation that non-heat-treated steel, gold plated or gold hands tend to develop.
