    Longtime Doxa Fan's 1st Question!!

Hello Folks, as you can see, i've been in the forum for more than 2 years but I have never participated in the Doxa Forum..

The Doxa brand has always caught my eye and I must say that I like most of the models but to be quite frankly I just can't afford one...I've been planning on selling several of my watches in order to purchase one truly great watch and from that list I have several "Grails" to choose from (one being obviously a Doxa), last year I started the purge and got the fund all the way to 700$ but then I had to make some payments and the fund had to be used so for now the drooling continues

I was wondering, I've seen that there's the Aquaman Quartz model that can be found for 400$ or less on the Sales Forum.. I must say I was really Pi$$*d several months ago that I almost bought one but missed out by a couple of minutes.. So,besides the Aquaman, what's the next best price(cheapest)/model I could fetch from the Doxa Line???

Also, since I brought it up, what do you guys think of the Aquaman?

Hope I didn't bore you too much...

I've never handled an Aquaman, but from other's comments made here in the past, it seems to be a really great watch. If you don't have the budget for a Sub, I think it's the next best thing. As far as what's the next cheapest? if you want a DOXA diver, it would probably be a used Sub which ranges from $1100 on up. If that's what you really want, I'd take a little extra time to save, and then go for one of those.

    Have a nice day.

    Welcome mate,

Its worth saving for a Sub style, as this is the traditional style of Doxa that has that classic feel. Use something like Elite Deal Seeker to search the sales forums. I notice a 1000T pro went for a 1k about a week ago on this sales forum. Always do your research on a seller before buying though.

    Good luck.

Honestly, there's not much more to add. The Aquaman is a great watch, but it will never be a Sub. If the Sub is what you really want, figure out your model, take Rusty's advice, and start combing the sales forums. Be sure to post pictures once you land your find.

    Have a nice day.

    Hi
I would not buy the Aquaman for sure. Rather wait another 2 Years you sure will have a better Watch and sure to keep the Value.
    Sending Greetings
