Thumbs Up New Chrono Dress Watch

I can't get this model off of my mind.

I currently wear a Tag Heuer Link as a dress watch as I due wear a suit every now and then. It has a low profile so it works as a dressy diver but just barely. As a guy who's willing to admit that I care about my clothes and at least make an effort to look nice, I'm really noticing that I have a gap in my watch collection. I need a dress(y) watch. While at 44mm it may be too large to go with a suit, it would fit perfectly as a step up in the dressy department. It's very similar to the outstanding Doxa Ultraspeed but a bit more formal which I like a lot.

As it appears to be a Doxa In Asia model, I may not have an opportunity to get one but there is just something about it that I can't out of my head. I like both models but the silver dial with blue hands looks amazing...

I have been browsing Hamiliton at local AD's as well as their web site but, as a Doxaholic Loyalist, I'd much rather wear a Doxa than a Hammy. Thoughts? Anyone else lusting after one of these new these models?

Oh yeah, thanks to Koshko for turning me and the rest of the forum members onto the DOXA - Official Doxa Website site. There are some real gems on there.

    Re: New Chrono Dress Watch

I like this model very much but for $2000+ it is too expensive for my taste. there are some similar models, without the Chrono for less than $1000, I rather dream about owning one of those someday.
My perfect dress watch is one with leather strap, white dial and thin blue hands so the TC One is on top of my dream watches

Is that what they are going for? I was afraid that they would be in that range but I did not see any pricing info on the site. That's gonna be out of my budget for they foreseeable future so I may be resigned to a non-chrono version as well. It's not that these do not look to be worth that much, I just don't have it...

My lousy budget is not going to keep me off of that site though. These are just too beautiful.

I've seen a few. Hamilton and Longines have them and I'm sure others do as well but I'd prefer to have a Doxa over those brands. I like having a brand that is pretty obscure to people here in the US. Plus, I strongly believe that support of the non-sub models help Doxa to continue to produce the Subs. Everyone wins.

I can source the models you have post here but the lowest price is around $2700 and the most expensive TC One Limited Edition watch is almost $4000. check out the California automatic or the cheaper quartz verison, They are under $700, I don't know the exact price

Sorry it doesn't do anything for me as it could have any name on the dial. At that sort of money you could get a classic pre owned Omega Speedmaster. Longines also do a fantastic column wheel chronograph at a few hundred dollars more. They may not be Doxa's and therefore not what you're looking for but they are still good value, long term options.
    Just my opinion.

That's a very generous offer and I my take you up on it my friend.

Do you have a link or pics of the models to which you are referring? I don't know them by name and the Doxa.ch site does not have names for each model. I do know that there are a number of very good looking dress watches on that site.
