Please help me identify a DOXA watch I bought

Hello everybody, Michael here from Philadelphia in the USA. I have been going crazy trying to identify the movement in a new Doxa I bought. I know the market is flooded with Ukrainian dealers taking pocket watches and converting them to wristwatches. However, I have a watch which is clearly too thin, and without the dust covers, but who knows. It has a new dial to look like a sub in color only, but the movement I'm sure is 1940 or so.

The position of the sub seconds hand is suggestive of a pocket watch, and I can find similarities to other movements around the 1940 era. HELP!!! I am enclosing pictures of the refinished face, thickness, and movement.

I thought I found a caliber #, but nothing matches what looks like : 1720/12 CA. Your expert help is appreciated. Thank you!Name: DSCN2018 copy.JPG

I should have given the most important information, dimensions: the watch has modern day, as in today size! It is massive being 44mm across, excluding the crown, and 48mm from lug tip to lug tip. Thickness of the crystal to the back of what seems a snap case is 6mm. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Based on those dimensions, this is almost certainly a converted pocket watch. I've not only never seen this dial, I don't think that is is even attempting to look like an original vintage Doxa. In car terms, this would be called a resto-mod as there were clearly some modifications done to create it rther than a simple restoration.

    Either way, enjoy it.

PS. I'm moving this thread to the Non-Sub forum where we discuss vintage and non-Sub Doxa models.
