    Ladies, Got Lume?

My wife asked me why her Seiko, Citizen and other ladies watches don't have lume. I didn't have a answer.
Here birthday is coming up next month and I'd like to add some lume to her budding collection. We try to keep our watch purchases <$300 dollars.
Ladies do you have a favorite lumed watch?

    Thanks for your advice!

What are her taste preferences (other than wanting lume)?

She likes her old Seiko (bottom left) from high school and wears it most of the time. Her watch takes a lot of bump/grind around her desk and the daily mountain of files that she works on. The Kenneth Cole next to the Seiko is on its second crystal after two-years of "desk diving." The rest of her collection is rotated based on what she is doing/wearing for the day.

She seems to like Seiko, and Seiko makes several models with full-lume dials such as this sports model:
    SYMG35 Seiko 5 SYMG35K1 Automatic Ladies Watch

Pretty hard to beat a full-lume dial! Seiko's subsidiaries Pulsar and Lorus make some as well, as does Momentum and a host of other companies. If she's not into fully lumed dials, most Seikos and Citizens use LumiBrite on their hands and hour markers. From experience, LumiBrite is great!
On the European side, Super Luminova is also superb. There are so many manufacturers using it on current watches it would be impossible to begin to list them here.

    Cheers,
    ~Sherry.

PS- I have three favorite lumed watches in my collection: Seiko ladies Marine Sport chronograph (LumiBrite), Wenger Swiss Military chrono (Super Luminova), and Momentum Atlas (Super Luminova full-lume dial).

I have a huge RGM 300 diver's watch that's lumed. Also, the Jaeger-LeCoultre "Tribute to 1931" Reverso with the black lacquer dial is lumed and it's also fairly small if you can find one; I have a 976 that is not lumed but has a silvered dial and is readable in low light. But RGMs and JLCs are not cheap by any stretch of the imagination.
