Need recomendation for ladies+men automatic

One of my friends is getting married, and I'd like to buy him and his fiance watches. They should preferably be of the same company, but they may not have to be of the same budget.

The difficulty is finding a ladies automatic, and I once bought a Tissot PR50 for a lady, but it seems that these watches are a little bit more difficult to find these days in the automatic variety.

Budget is around $500 for both. They should look classy and elegant. Any recommendations?

Do both watches need to be automatic? Lots of watchmakers only offer their women's lines in quartz.

Are you looking for a his and hers (matching) set? Stainless Steel? Two tone?

I think Seiko makes some lovely ladies autos. That would be where I would start my search.

Getting a pairing watch for a couple is not easy, especially when the budget is set @ USD$500 for both together and has to be auto... unless if you opt for quartz models, which i'm sure you can find lots of options out there...

Perhaps you can consider something a little different on both watches... where the subtile details determines the gentleness for the lady, the rough for the groom?

Not Automatic but... My wife and I will soon be in possession of matching Victorinox Ambassador quartz watches. The womens model is available on rubber for around $150, the mens on a bracelet for about the same price. For some stupid reason the womens on a bracelet seems to run about $325.
