1st FC - Impressions on FC Classics GMT Automatic FC-350S5B6

I tried doing research before buying this watch but I did not find much information from actual buyers. Most of what I found were partial reviews on blogs from watch experts with stock photos and a few videos on youtube. Nothing that I found had the information I was really looking for: a owner's everyday perspective on the watch, pics of how it looked on the wrist, how it felt wearing it, etc...

For this reason I decided to do a simple 1st impression review of the FC Classics GMT watch I got a week ago.
I hope this can help someone out there that is considering buying this watch.

My first impression of the watch right out of the box was that it was beautiful but a bit too big for my liking (my wrist is 6 and 3/4). However, after a week of everyday use Im enjoying wearing it more and more. (* I have some wrist shots that I will add at the end).

As for the time keeping I adjusted the watch to the NIST US Time website and after a couple days I compared it to the website and it was running 20secs faster. For some people I know this this is not within the acceptable time loss/gain for mechanical watches but it doesnt really bother me.

The watch is beautifully finished. The details on the dial really pop out. The chrome on the hands (Hour, minutes and seconds) and on the roman numerals give the watch a sophisticated look.

The only thing I wish was of better quality is the strap. The strap is really stiff and the placement of the strap holes dont really fit my wrist size so when I wear it, the watch is either a bit loose or one adjustment to tight.
The looks on the strap from up close dont really appeal to me either. I wish it looked a little more "ëxpensive/ sophisticated". The buckle however has a nice touch; the FC logo. *I included a pic of it.

Despite this little inconvenience the watch is light and comfortable to wear.

I hope this quick review helps anyone thinking about getting this watch. If anyone has anymore questions that I did not address, please let me know I will answer to the best of my ability.

    Regards

Congrats. Looks great, and is not too big at all on your wrist. You are probably used to smaller watches, so think this is too big. After wearing it a while, you will reverse, and think your smaller watch is too small :) What size is the case? 42mm ?

The size looks right. Not big at all.

    Enjoy!

I've got 4 FC watches in my collection and I love them.

I agree with you on the straps! But, mine broke in after about 2 weeks of constant playing and 'Rolling' them. Now, they're pretty comfortable :) Great write up bud!
