Lovely! Wear it(them) in good health! You will only find enablers of your (our) madness here.
Enjoy sooner than later, we don't last forever.
Thank you, I'm flattered, but, please don't click any "Likes" for me (unless there's a prize for "most likes")?

I had been looking at Alpina for a few months, then when I purchased my first, I was really impressed with it, the look, the feel, the apparent workmanship, and the time keeping. I then heard that Alpina was bought by Citizen, and that they had said they will keep it as is. I thought well, they may, but if they don't and start to make changes, if for the better, I can always get other watches from them, but if the changes are not to my liking, then it's best to get what I want now. This Chrono, is a supposedly a limited edition, if you can call 8000 limited !! It is easily available now, but it will eventually run out!

So now was the best time to get it, and I am really glad to have done so, it is truly a gorgeous watch, and so far after two and half days, it has gain all of 2 seconds!!

    Cheers

You're not alone, Tony N. We're all crazy. Watch-nuts, mad as hatters. I bought the Alpina Alpiner Pilot with the blue Sunburst dial, it arrives tomorrow. But now I went and ordered the Alpina Alpiner 4 with black dial and black leather strap.

This will be my first Alpina and I am really looking forward to opening that box. And then the Alpiner 4!

Wow, you didn't even wait to get the first to see if you like it! I am so happy to be dethroned :)

Enjoy both in good health. I don't think you will be disappointed.
