Do we have to go with the Seagull ST8000 if we do a tourbillon? $900 is a bit steep. Can we go with a Hangzhou movement like the ones the Minorva tourbillon watches use? Those sell for around $500 on eBay and have a date and moonphase complication.

The price for a tourbillon using the Seagull ST8000 movement will cost USD900 and the Seagull ST19 chrono is USD200 (including sapphire crystal and both display/solid caseback).

Ohh, I love heuer bund! But I think our project watch should be no homage, but and original design, by US!
If we could get something remotely bundish, but orignal, I'd go for it.
