That's going to drive the price up a lot, and I'm not really a fan of tritium if that is going to make the lume useless in 10 to 20 years.
And, seeing as we kind of suggested every possible kind of watch imaginable, I guess we have come full circle![]()

Can I suggest a watch made from a different material, it seems hard to find a titanium watch that I actually like.
Or a ceramic with some really high grade sapphire crystal? no scratch's anyone.
If I'm not mistaken, handling tritium does require a special license, which I'm not sure any of our potential manufacturing partners has. Besides, who are you going to turn to when your tubes need to be replaced?

I would like to hear a water proof minute repeater, sort like the Sekio mob have, sweet muzack with some nice Lum for under $250.00.
just saying . . .
In addition to tritium needing replacing every 10 years or so, costing more, and perhaps not being available to us, the tubes are not very attractive, they add to the height of the watch, and, although constant, they're not super bright - not the "WOW" kind of brightness I had in mind.
Don't get me wrong, I like tritium and have owned two and still have one of them (gave my Luminox to my son after having it overhauled):
But I think a great paint thickly applied, a luminous dial, or a sandwich dial would be cooler.

Perhaps. Back then I believe I was still fixated on the alarm watch (too bad about the movement). Anyhow, lume being an important feature is new (I think) and seems to be well received. Also, we're keeping the thread bumped!

That case down at 42mm would be awesome!
For better or for worse, I'm sure our work-of-art will be unique!![]()

I am liking where these suggestions are heading. I can't wait for the project to start up again.
