    2012 WUS Edition

With the final few pieces of the WUS 2011 being sent out in the near future, the Committee (mad men that we are) is considering doing another edition for 2012 .

A few esteemed members have already suggested a true tourbillon (possibly a set with ladies open-heart watch), a chrono ala 1963 and a Chinese divers watch like the Shanghai Military reissue. Of course, if there is enough interest in the tourbillon (minimum order of 100), we will offer a more budget conscious edition in addition. Yeah, maybe 2 editions for 2012......fun, fun, fun for everyone .

Nothing has been decided yet and we probably won't start things rolling until August, but we would love your thoughts and opinions.

    Cheers!!!

I feel like the whole reason why 2011 edition was so popular was because it was so affordable. Amazing bang for buck if you will. I believe continuing that way of thinking can be very important and strike a chord with alot of members.

The 1963 is a beautiful piece. I think you should go with that. Just my two cents.

I vote for an affordable tourbillon preferably with either a moonphase or power reserve.

I was about to suggest tourby (Open heart set), you read my mind HKEd.

It is, indeed, great idea to have a set of men's and women's open heart + beautiful militray diver + 1963 style Chrono! I am all the way in.

    Very Best Regards . . .

Don't get too carried away Capt.

We will be doing very well if 2 editions do materialise this year!

We haven't decided yet and it would also depend on the model chosen.

How about making a poll to gauge interest then? Otherwise you will probably run into MOQ problems...

As I said earlier, nothing has been decided yet. This is a preliminary post to gauge ideas and see if there is any interest in another WUS edition.

    Re: 2012 WUS Edition

I'm afraid of tourbillons in context of the price =)
I like the idea of taking shanghai diver reissue as a base
And a power reserve could be great complication

So I have an eye on this all =)
