    What time is it??

Hi guys... my buddy and I are debating if the pictured SST 06 ( pic from Glycine ) is a 24hr or not. It is a 24 hr watch but but NOT in purist form.

The D24 is a TRUE 24 hr watch with 3 time zones.

    Please tell me the time ( SST 06 ) and the ( D24 )

To me... the SST 06 - local time is 10:08 and the 24 hr hand ( in red ) is at 9:00. Is there a third? time zone if one moves the inner 24 hr bezel. so is it possible to read 3 timezones with the SST 06??

Now the D24... one timezone is 19:08 second time zone is 0708 and local time zone is 2008. Correct???

Help me to win this debate

    TIA

    Bruce

ps.Both pics taken from Glycine website for reference.

Yes, you are correct in all respects and yes, a third timezone is available on the SST06 by setting the innder bezel differently than the dial.

Keep in mind, the SST06 is also available in a two timezone purist version with a single 24 hour hand and no 12 hour hand (I just ordered a purist Pumpkin from Werner).

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dennis....

I am thinking to get a D24. I deal with Italy and Asia so the D24 is better for me

That should be the perfect watch for you, then. I'm not sure any watch made would be able to track three timezones as well for your purposes. The only tricky part is remembering which is Asia and which is Italy (the yellow scoop or the red arrow).
I would remember with something silly like "Red is for Italy because of Ferrari"

YUP... I agree with you. Red indeed is for Ferrari and Yellow is for Asia ( well... kinda fitting though, although a little politically incorrect ) Being a Chinaman myself I guess it is ok :-D Hope I dont offend other fellow WUS.
