    Making a "dumb" watch smart-Montblanc e-strap

This looks like a pretty cool option to make any watch smart. You can buy the strap and removable module for around $300 us. I am thinking of ordering one but wanted to see if anyone has had a chance to try this out yet?

Steel would be a nice option but supposedly with this you can take the smart module and put it on any 20/22mm nato as long as the fabric is thin enough.

There's another similar product in leather for 200 Euro's, silicone slightly less.

Can the module be added to a strap of a classic style watch? Best if both worlds?

On a nato style strap 20/22mm as long as it's thin enough.

It does seem like it can be added to most straps as long as the width is the right one. Wonder how long the battery would last in real life use?

I read five days of normal use and its rechargeable through micro-usb. That's why I was hoping someone had one so we could get some real world experience.

Exactly, the paper specs don't really tell the real life usage. There must be some Youtube reviews?

I am almost sure that this smart strap is just marketing bu11$hit. The news about it came more than 2-3 years ago and nothing has changed
